Introductions can be awkward.

Hello, my name is Lauren. I'm your typical college Junior- I take too many pictures, I always end up cramming for exams, I'd rather run outside than watch TV, and I would really appreciate a few more hours in the day. I am addicted to my macbook, iPod, and all things Google.

Introductions can be awkward. I have mastered the firm handshake, the eye-contact. I know that first impressions are important, both in business and in personal life; but how much information do you volunteer in that opening sequence? Are the rules different in the world of blogging? The Internet has changed the entire notion of "getting to know you." In many ways, handshakes and eye-contact have been replaced by click-throughs and page views. I know that you could probably find quite a bit of information about me through a quick Google search, but I hope that the thoughts and opinions expressed here will prove valuable for you. I hope that this blog will allow me to share what I am learning with others, especially other young entrepreneurs.
